In 2005 Greg Long received a Recognition Award for Public Service from the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for exemplary community service.
In 2012 Greg Long was named to The Wisconsin Green Industry's Hall of Fame. Few people have given more to the betterment of the Green Industry and the environment. He has received numerous leadership and distinguished service awards from both government and industry organizations. For more than 40 years Greg has volunteered his time, talent and leadership to the ultimate benefit of our industry and environment of the State of Wisconsin.
In 2003 Greg Long received a Distinguished Service Award from the Wisconsin Landscape Federation for 30 years of dedication, service and leadership to the horticultural industry.
From 1994 through 1998 Greg Long served as the Wisconsin Nursery Association's Representative to the Great Lakes Nursery Leadership Council. This is an organization of nursery industry associations of eight states whose purpose is the exchange of information to foster leadership, communication and improve nursery associations.
In 2008 Greg Long was recognized by the Wisconsin Council on Invasive Species with an Invader Crusader Award for outstanding achievement and effort in the fight against Invasive Species. The Invader Crusader Award honors Wisconsin citizens for their significant contribution to prevent or eradicate invasive species that harm Wisconsin's lands and waters.
On March 21, 2014 Gregory Long, PLA, ASLA received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. This award honors an individual whose career has advanced the profession of landscape architecture in Wisconsin through extraordinary leadership and professional works.
